Women's Center
Sometimes you just want to know what something means to you – as a woman.
Sure, there is lots of great information out there about HIV and AIDS, but it’s
often hard to find out about how women, specifically, are affected. What does
it mean to our bodies? Our menstrual cycle? Our reproductive system? What about
dating? Pregnancy? The Women’s Center is here to answer those questions.
Studies have found that menstrual irregularities are more common if you have
a low CD4 cell count, a high viral load, or are significantly below your ideal
body weight.
